World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is an essential element of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enhancements.
They also provide bonus effects and improvements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds one level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When a weapon is upgraded, it receives an initial damage bonus as well as an adjustment factor that affects other stats. The weapon can also gain a variety of upgrade components that provide additional features or effects as well as unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, or gathering tools. Most require that the equipment has an available upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. Once the weapon has reached the maximum level of upgrade, it may be reforged using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or to add bonuses and effects. A variety of these upgrades can be re-applied simultaneously, and the effects vary depending on the rarity of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.
In general, it's advisable to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then you can increase your armour defense and, finally the secondary stats required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading other equipment. This can help increase DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments that can boost a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to increase the stats base of certain armor pieces weapons, trinkets, trinkets and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, or in loot drops, or as rewards for quests.

For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with an initial defense range of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has a base defense between 67-77 and so on.

Trinket
A trinket is an inexpensive piece of jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring or even a small flag used to mark a boat's yard that is lateen. It can also be an gilded trinket fixed to the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze by making them more prevalent. At its current level the trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives every floor an X% chance to have an ebony mimic. item upgrades to this trinket require a moderate amount energy.
The magic from the enchanted scepter is believed to influence the dungeon and making it more likely to create grass and water. At its current level this trinket makes X% of the floors become filled with water or grass however it won't affect enchantments or symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are created to aid in the elimination of hazards.
While it appears like the normal eye of a newt this mysterious item appears to affect your vision in ways that go beyond just reducing your field view. At the moment, this trinket increases the overall health gained from drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and gives you vision on enemies within the Y tiles. This trinket is not stacked with the Higher Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you've completed the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters, and in chests and crates. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will affect the trinket which is random and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reorge the trinket as often as you'd like, but it will always be able to produce an effect that is new.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
